Anti-Virus Project Launched!

Today, I shall launch the day which I provide advices on how to solve problems such as viruses and trojans found on the computer.Basically, I will recommend some programs that I had used for the past years in the online world. My Project today would be the Avert Stinger, commonly known as s-t-i-n-g-e-r, it is one of the few antivirus programs that I had use. When I first got my broadband connection, I had downloads of games, music and game patches and I had always download without considering the riskes of having all those viruses, trojans, spywares, adwares, malwares. The Avert Stinger was one of the programs that saved my PC from becaming a virus-server.

I hosted it at megaupload.com so you can download it easily. It is a built-in scanner with removal ability and would be able to scan variants of viruses and trojans. It is a free program and you would not have to worry about licenses and upgrades as it is just a basic program.

One Thousand Bloggers!

I had signed up for One Thousand Bloggers and it seems that my application has been accepted. I thank the staff of OneThousandBloggers for putting my blog online, as I had wanted to spread the blog to the masses, where my services would be always available for all. As work was one of my concerns during this two months, I did not put in much effort to post in the blog. Therefore, beginning tomorrow, Monday, February 13th, I shall start a daily update on Entertainment, relating to anime songs(which I will be hosting some), anime websites that has DDL for users who would not want to use torrents to download their favourite animes. Likewise, I would do a weekly update for Technical issues such as spywares and viruses, with that I will be hosting some of the programs useful in handling such problems.

The Cambridge Path.

The Cambridge Ordinary Examinations was started in Singapore for Secondary Four Students and Secondary Five students who are to graduate into Junior College Students and Polytechnic Students. It is what many in Singapore called it shortly as "O" Levels, which many students up to 40000 would take up from 6 to 10 subjects and score for the Polytechnic Course or the Junior colleges they wish to take up.
I have personally experienced it in 2005, and from my own experience after receiving my results, my advice is "What you reap is what you sow", basically building on the basis of the amount of hard work and effort you put in shall be the kind of results you will get when you go back to your own school to receive your results. I shall not disclose my results, though my results allow me to have a choice of 130 courses(not a definite figure), which will be good when you look at your results.
Basically, the maximum score oneself should target for his O Levels should be below 26, as 26 is one of the C-O(Cutoff) points allowed to a student for most of the courses. Once your points reach over the limit, courses available to you are limited and are based immediate on your subjects that you have passed or done well.

For those who are reading the blog and would like an in-depth build of the score,
This is how the build is like:
L1R4:Basically this is one language(English is firstly selected unless you did not take english, which basically does not qualify you for any course unless you take the Polytechnic's courses on Chinese Studies),while the R4 is divided into 2 sections, knowing as R2+B2, which becomes 2 Relevant subjects to the course you are taking and 2 more subjects which have the best grade, ranging from Grade A1 to Grade C6.(D7 to F9 are seldom taken unless most of the grades are within the failing range)
L1R5:Basically this is like the L1R4 Build, but this build is for students who are entering Junior Colleges and selected Institutes of Education(an example would be Millenia Institute, commonly known as MI to many).You would be curious over what the R5 stands for, which actually constitute like the L1R4 Build, which is basically 3 Relevant subjects and 2 other best subjects.

Many would question my choice of a course that I will be taking, which is the Diploma for Digital Entertainment Technology, a course that delves into animation,game programming, game designing and visual digital arts. I have a passion for playing video games, and It always has been a dream of mine to be a game designer, for this course allow me to reach my dream and maximise my potential in the InfoComm Field, which i gladly would join.

As I left my 10 years of education through the Primary and Secondary Route, it is my decision now that I left that 10 years behind, and focus on my coming 3 years of education, the Digital Technology line to produce the best form of online and video entertainment for the audience and consumers who will be my future clients.

Memories are true to my heart, making new friends over the 4 years of Secondary Life, they have enriched me with skills and qualities of a fine leader and I gladly wished that this would continue, so I can contribute back to society in the same way to help people who are in need.

The New Year has arrived, and it is the Year of the Dog, the 11th animal of the Chinese Zodiac. Dogs have been in this world for quite some time, and has different representation of their status among us, as you have commonly heard quotes like "Dogs are man's best friend" and these words are true,that lives are saved by those who we call friends, for the visually handicapped, the dogs are their eyes, for they guide them on the safe path, for swimmers, dogs are excellent swimmers who would save people that are at sea in the event of drowning incidents.
This post had actually been drafted, just that I wasn't in a gracious mood to actually post it. I apologise for the lateness.

Today was another tired day for me, with my friend doing the deliveries at the same company as me while I was doing my job as both office-boy and factory-boy once again, which totally stretch my body's working limits to the maximum. As I promised, I will update my blog today with a new guide and links to download animes.

As my normal approach, I shall continue the guide on animes and the Animation World. Some new words for you to learn if you are interested in animes and has totally no idea what they mean....
-Terms-
Shounen/Shonen:It means male-fanbase animes, which would include genres like Fighting animes,RPG-based animes,Sport animes(Not considering the anime Suzuka),Fantasy animes and more etc etc......

Shoujo/Shojo:It means female-fanbase animes, which would include genres like Romance animes, animes that concentrate on the cuteness of a character,Female Protagonist Story-based animes, comedy-based anime.(No restrictions on this, males do watch comedy-based anime)

Kawaii:It means cute or adorable, probably focusing on a male/female character or an animal within the anime.

Shounen-Ai:Animes focusing on Boy-to-Boy relationships, where the male protagonist or the supporting male cast having a same gender preference towards another, which normally results in humour as shown in the anime Kyou Kara Maou.

Shoujo-Ai:Animes focusing on Girl-to-Girl relationships, where the female protagonist or the supporting female cast having a same gender preference towards another, which normally also result in humour as shown in the anime Bleach in the starting.(Remember Ichigo who has a female classmate who wear glasses and like Orihime and the other girls in class)

Bishoujo/Bishonen:Normally use to describe a male/female character as good-looking, but on the male aspect, it probably means that the male character's looks has feminine characteristics within it.

Update of Events......

A tired day i have experienced. Working in the office-type region isn't your plain idea of just some clerical work, if you are a temporary worker, your job stretches to both manual labour and clerical work. For me, I am working at AsiaPaint, one of the paint-production(industrial) companies that are strong competitors of household brands like Nippon Paint and Verger(I apologise if there is any mistake with the second paint company's name). Today, as i promised, I will introduce some famous sites that has direct downloads for broadband/ADSL/DSL/Cable/LAN(T1/T3/High-Speed Network) users relating to anime soundtracks, though i shall not be responsible for any copyright laws broken by any users who has been caught of distributing these files from this direct download links. If you are new at the Internet world, this are some of the new words you will learn while you are surfing.

Direct Download/DDL: Your basic downloading from a website, though different websites will provide different speeds of downloading depending on the bandwidth given to the site. If you are a 256/384/512/768kbps user, it's best advised to get a download accelerator. A recommended brand that is useful if you are using Mozilla FireFox would be the Flashgot Extension, which will also provide the Free Download Manager. For Internet Explorer users, it's best to get either a retail Download Accelerator or FlashGet. Do take note not to use download accelerators with software bundles.(It's easy to identify them..they are always the ones saying to install Gator,WeatherBar,NavExcel ToolBar,Ebaymoemoneymaker which are actually adwares that slow down your computer.)

File-Transfer-Protocol/FTP:Another way of downloading from a website, basically some websites have FTP servers which they upload files to their server to users for them to download. Some FTP servers are supported by download accelerators, which helps the user to get files easily, but do take note, you will drain up the bandwidth of the server heavily when you use download accelerators. FTP servers are usually supply their users with a username and password, as having a FTP server will have many leechers taking files from it. Most FTP servers have anonymous access for visitors though, though visitors will take the chance to leech as many files as possible.

mIRC XDCC/CTCP:Known as Xabi Direct Client to Client Protocol or Client to Client Protocol, this is the method many mIRC users transfer files to each other using their mIRC client such as the basic mIRC client now or Sysreset.(Sysreset is usually used by users who wants to host their file on a Fileserver, or otherwise known as Fserve, as some channels in mIRC require you to share as many as you download from different users.) mIRC has been a common tool for online piracy since the P2P network laws have been upheld strictly by governments in many countries. mIRC stands for Mass Internet Relay Chat, though it's original name was IRC, known as Internet Relay Chat.

Bittorrent:The uploading/downloading method replacing P2P networks for users to share files, it is a very popular method around the world for users to download files of a large size reaching more than 5 GB at times. Bittorrent's idea is a user will become a seeder and leecher when they download the files, being a seeder means you are a file uploader, or you distribute the files to everyone who's downloading in laymen's term. Being a leecher means you are downloading without uploading any of the contents of the files which is disliked by many seeders as it does not help in providing files to those who are new to the Bittorrent. Most of the Bittorrent Clients that are available will give the option of downloading and uploading the files, though it's always best to have a higher download speed than your upload speed, as having a higher upload speed will slow your download speed. Your download speed is always proportional to your upload speed to get the best out of your connection.
(Warning:Using Bittorrent has a high risk usage in some countries for they are very strict with the copyright laws, and it has been using as a source of distributing illegal files.)

P2P Networks: This is the most dangerous method of downloading files, and many users who has been in the Online world for quite a while would know of this famous names such as Kazaa, Morpheus,Bearshare,Ares,Shareaza and many other more. This method of downloading has minimal control over the files you download and upload..and the risk of getting viruses, worms, adwares/spywares or trojans is extremely high. Governments in many countries are extremely strict with P2P Networks and will hunt down any uploaders of files and since there is minimal control over file you upload..the risk of getting caught is high.Those names that I had mentioned are P2P Clients, otherwise known as Peer-to-Peer Clients which allow one user to download files of their preferences from another user who has the file on his computer.

It is a popular Direct Download website for users who watch animes, and it provides the soundtracks released with each anime from the Opening Theme till the Ending Theme, and the animes it currently supports is over a large category, such as popular animes like Naruto, Bleach, Black Cat, FullMetal Alchemist, Yakitate!!! Japan and many more other animes etc etc.
Take Note that gendou doesn't support licensed anime music files such as Pokemon/Digimon/Inuyasha/Dragonball/SamuraiX(Himura Kenshin)/Tenchi Muyo/Yu Yu Hakuusho series.

The Chinese New Year Approaches. . . . . .

The Chinese New Year, regarded by the Chinese as one of the most important festivals throughout the world, is coming soon to Singapore and other countries with Chinese people living within it. It is regarded as a festival of happiness and prosperity, where different families, relatives,strangers and friends of the same chinese race bless one another in the coming of a new year. Families will visit their relatives and exchange of red packets will proceed as usual, to young members of the families who are not married from the elders who are married.In Singapore, the festival/season is approaching soon, as many families starts to make preparations to welcome this festival. For me, I will be meeting my friends during New Year's Eve, as we gather at a friend's house to enjoy some gaming activities, such as xbox-gaming and social interactions.
For the coming few days, I will update my blog with direct download links to animes, otherwise known as japanese animations, to people who are reading this blog. Japanese Animation/Animes has been around for quite some time, and is rather popular than the American Cartoons, namely the Marvel and Capcom Heroes.

The First Post. Many tend to regard this post as something to express their concerns over the blog they own(technically), or to actually display this blog as archives and a broadcasting base for their feelings, thoughts and expressions through what you called an online diary. For my case, I shall let it be my distribution of materials used by many of my friends, examples could be songs that I currently have, programs that i use, such as anti-spyware programs, anti-virus programs that would resolve any issues one may face while being in the online world.
Therefore, I shall launch my blog with the idea of using it as a request station, though files over 100mbs will not be hosted or uploaded as my upload speed tend to be too slow to accomplish such a large uploading of file.
